im going to stay anonymous but some girl was asking me to send photos and begging me to so i eventually gave in. They then turned out to be a scammer and threatened to post it to my friends sicne they took photos of my account. I panicked and sent 10 pounds but they said it wasnt enough. After that i got scared and blocked them on everything but scared they might hack my dads bank and send the photo everywhere. I'm 15.
Hi there,
It’s never ok for anyone to pressure you into sending nudes. What they’ve done isn’t your fault, and it’s against the law for them to blackmail you or share your nudes. Being threatened with your nude images being shared with others can feel very scary, but there are ways to take control back.
Stop replying to any messages they’re sending you. Screenshot any threats and make a report on the social media platform they’re using. You can also make a report to the police via CEOP if you feel able to. Make sure you stop sending any money or trying to respond to any demands. It can feel scary but paying them doesn’t mean they’ll stop threatening you.
When you’re under 18, it’s against the law for anyone to share a sexual image or video of you, even if it’s AI generated. If you’re worried about this, you can stop them being posted online using Report Remove. Childline works with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) take down this content and stop it being posted in the future.
It’s important that you get support with what’s happening. Being blackmailed isn’t your fault, and telling someone you trust who can help. You can also get support from Childline any time about this or anything else.
Take care,
Sam

You can ask me about anything you want, there's nothing too big or small. I read every single letter but I can only answer a few each week. My replies are published here on my page.
