- if you feel too nervous talking on the phone, you could try talking online
- relax. Take your time. There's no rush.
- it's ok if you don't know what to say!

When you're worried about something, it can help to talk it through with someone you trust. This could be someone in your family, or someone like a teacher, doctor or another adult you trust.
Sport and exercise can help you deal with stress and can help you overcome new challenges. And it isn't just for 'sporty' people, either. Read our advice on staying active and choose a sport that feels right for you.
Being confident means being comfortable with how you look and how you feel. This can take time, but taking small steps can make a big difference. And remember, Childline is always here to help.
