Confirming your age

Go to the Yoti Portal to confirm you're under 18. You'll either need to:

  • scan your passport, CitizenCard, driving licence or official government ID to confirm your age.
  • or download the Yoti app and follow the steps to confirm your age using ID.

Yoti will use your device to take a photo of your face and your ID.

Yoti will then check that you're under 18.

Yoti will send you back to our website to continue your report.

What happens next?

Once we’ve confirmed your age with Yoti, we’ll ask you to sign in or create a Childline account. This is so we can let you know what’s happening with your image or video report.
