Hi there,
Having autism sounds really upsetting for you and its very wrong for anybody to bully you about it. Its not your fault that people are teasing you. You deserve respect.
You have the right to help with your autism and any difficulties that you have because of it. If youd like more support, you can call the National Autistic Societys helpline on 0808 800 4104. Theres also lots of information on their website about autism and getting support.
You said that you cant cross roads by yourself and it sounds like maybe somebody is usually there with you when you cross the road. It could be a good idea to let that person know about the bullying so that they can help make it stop.
Theres lots of information about bullying on our bullying hub, too. Im wondering whether it might also help for you to share your experience with other young people on our message boards. Its a place to get advice and support from other young people.
Youve done really well to get in touch, and please remember that you can always talk to ChildLine about how you feel. Our counsellors are there for you whenever youve got something on your mind.
Im really glad that you felt able to write to me about this. I hope that you get the help you need.
Take care,
Sam

You can ask me about anything you want, there's nothing too big or small. I read every single letter but I can only answer a few each week. My replies are published here on my page.
