When youre feeling confused about relationship choices, its important to remember that only you can decide what feels best for you.
If you feel like your relationship with your boyfriend is not working, then a first step could be to talk to him about it. Telling him about the things that arent working for you can give you both a chance to either fix the situation or decide that its best to end the relationship.
Preparing what you want to say can help you to feel ready to have a difficult conversation. It might also be a good idea to consider where and when you can both talk privately that way your boyfriend can talk with you without feeling embarrassed in front of others.
Relationships can be complicated, and its often a good idea to think about what you are hoping to get from a relationship. It was brave of your best friend to explain their feelings for you but you always have the right to decide whether you want to stay as just friends or to start a different kind of relationship together.
