dear sam, i am really depressed lately i have fallen out with this girl to be honest she is abit of a bully but now i am scared of going to school because i know she will say something or try and start a fight i was friends with her for a while and know what she is like anyway i left something at hers and i have to go and collect it tomorrow and now i am really scared because she might have a fight with me and i dont wanna have a fight with anyone. please sam i need your help asap because i am going at 12 tomorrow please i am desprite xx

It can be very upsetting and confusing when someone you feel close to starts to treat you differently. Its not ok for anyone, including a friend, to treat you in a way that makes you feel really scared. This is bullying, and it is wrong.
Sometimes we can feel unsure about what to do in certain situations out of fear of making things worse. You could look at our friendship page about coping when a friend treats you in a way that makes you unhappy. If youre feeling worried about how this girl will treat you, perhaps you could ask someone else to go with you when you have to see her or talk to her. Its important to remember that schools have a responsibility to try to stop bullying.
