Hi there,
It can be very upsetting and confusing when someone you feel close to starts to treat you differently. Its not ok for anyone, including a friend, to treat you in a way that makes you feel really scared. This is bullying, and it is wrong.
Sometimes we can feel unsure about what to do in certain situations out of fear of making things worse. You could look at our friendship page about coping when a friend treats you in a way that makes you unhappy. You can hear from other young people who've been through similar problems on our Friends message board.
If youre feeling worried about how this girl will treat you, perhaps you could ask someone else to go with you when you have to see her or talk to her. Its important to remember that schools have a responsibility to try to stop bullying. If this girl bullies you in school, or youre worried about how shes treating other people, then try talking to an adult you trust about it. You can also read more about ways to cope with bullying.
If youd like to talk about what's making you feel worried, you can always talk to a ChildLine counsellor.
Take care,
Sam

You can ask me about anything you want, there's nothing too big or small. I read every single letter but I can only answer a few each week. My replies are published here on my page.
