Being hit is never okay and you’re doing the right thing asking for help. Whether you have a phone or not, there ways you can get support from Childline.

There are lots of different ways to use Childline:

• Call for free on 0800 1111
• Speak to a counsellor online using the 1-2-1 chats
• Send a message to a counsellor and get a reply within a day

If you don’t have access to a device yourself, there are still ways to get support from us. You could try speaking to someone you trust in your school to ask for help using Childline. Another option is to ask to use a friend’s device.

If you have access to a device but you’re worried about anyone knowing, it can also help to find out how to cover your tracks and keep your visit private.

Physical abuse is never okay, and we’re here to help with anything that might be happening in your life. Childline is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
