Coping with lockdown
Most of the UK has gone into a temporary lockdown again. For lots of people this will be really difficult.
Whatever’s happening, there are ways to cope and help everyone stay safe:
School and exams
Whether you’re getting lessons at home or going into school, it can be stressful keeping up with work and thinking about the future. Lots of exams in the UK have been cancelled, and you may not know exactly how you’ll be marked.
There are lots of things about school that you can’t control, but there are still things you can do:
- Ask questions
Whether it’s about work, social distancing or anything else it’s always okay to ask questions
- Make a routine
Set time every day to focus on homework, or try our tips on keeping up with it. Give yourself time every day just to relax as well.
- Tell someone if something’s wrong
If something’s happened at home, you’re being bullied or there’s anything else on your mind then it’s important to talk about it. You can speak to adults at school any time, or you can talk to us
- Keep thinking about the future
Remember that things are constantly changing and that the future can be different, even if they’re difficult right now
