A few weeks ago, we asked for your help to name the new Childline chatbot.
You chose Cubie and from today, we are introducing Cubie!
Cubie is the Childline chatbot who can help while you’re waiting in the 1-2-1 chat queue. You don’t have to use Cubie but they might help while you’re waiting. You can ask Cubie questions, type about how you’re feeling and even ask Cubie to tell you a joke! Cubie can also help you find info and support on the website while you’re waiting and may even help you find exactly what you’re looking for without talking to a counsellor.
But you can still talk to the counsellors about anything and still have a chat whether you type to Cubie or not.
Because it’s really new and Cubie is still learning, we are still testing to improve the chatbot for you. That means, for the first little while, Cubie won’t be available to everyone and not at all times, so don't worry if you don't see them just now. Cubie learns from what you all type to them, so we can use that to help Cubie learn and to make them the best chatbot possible!
