Hi there,
Well done for having the courage to write to me. It sounds like youre having a really tough time right now, and you have done really well to ask for some support.
You said in your letter that you hate yourself and youre feeling trapped in your own head and you feel like you might burst. You sound frightened of something, but you dont say what of. Im wondering if something has happened to make you feel scared, or perhaps its the way youre feeling that is really scary for you. Or it could be both.
You sound like you might be overwhelmed with how youre feeling. What would it be like to get in touch with ChildLine and let them know a bit more about how youre feeling and whats going on for you? They would be happy to listen to you and they could help you to think about when these feelings started, and ways that you might be able to change or improve things.
You could phone ChildLine for free on 0800 1111, and when you get through, the counsellors there are warm and friendly, and they will take the time to listen to you. You could also get in touch by using 1-2-1 chat on the ChildLine website, or you could email them instead. They are open all the time too, and its up to you how and when you get in touch if you choose to do that.
Take care,
Sam

You can ask me about anything you want, there's nothing too big or small. I read every single letter but I can only answer a few each week. My replies are published here on my page.
