please help me I lay there any my covetable warm bed its begging to be every night know please help I tell my mom and dad and they say just keep trying it doesn't work so sometimes I end up in my parents bed cause I cant sleep even in my parents bed sometimes I turns my computer off and 9:00 pm and turn the lights off, once I lay there for an hour it was 11:00pm
please help what should I do

It can be really frustrating when you've done all you can to get to sleep but it just won’t happen. Turning off the computer and the lights, as well as making sure your bed is as cosy as possible, is a great start. Our Problems sleeping page has more ideas you can try to help you sleep.
When you think about all the stuff a young person’s body (and mind) copes with every day, it's not surprising it can be a struggle to switch off. All of the information from school work, changes in your hormones, growth, and developing friendships and relationships, can make it hard to wind down. It's important to remember that it's perfectly normal and lots of young people have similar issues.
Sometimes it can be worry that keeps you awake so it can be helpful to keep a notepad beside your bed and scribble down any thoughts that come into your head. You could then talk about it during the day, either to someone you trust or to Childline. Knowing that you're going to deal with it can help to get it out of your head.
The Childline message boards can also be a great source of support from other young people with similar problems. And don’t forget that you can also talk to a Childline counsellor by phoning 0800 1111 or through a 1-2-1 chat.
