I'm glad you’ve got in touch.

From what you’ve said it sounds like school can be a really frustrating place for you. I know that having no or only a few friends can be difficult and that being under pressure can make it hard to focus.

Sometimes it can be difficult to talk to teachers and there are always people who we find it hard to get on with. I can hear how you feel you hate your teachers but there might be other staff at school that could support you. It can also be really hard when we want to do one thing but the person responsible for looking after us wants another. You don’t mention how you and your mum get on, but some people find it helpful to explain to a parent or carer how they are feeling. You could also talk more about the effect a particular situation is having on you.

Many schools have counsellors or support staff, so it might be worth trying to see if you can talk to someone like that about your feelings. You said that you want to move school but it can be really important to make sure that all the options in your current school have been talked over first.

There is lots of information on the message boards that might be really helpful for you. On the message boards other young people might have some suggestions on how you can cope with how things are for you in school.
