Hi there,

Everyone is allowed to work, whether they have a disability or not. The law says that employers can't discriminate against you because of your disability. And they must try to make reasonable adjustments so you can work there. Unless your disability would prevent you from doing that job, they can't use that as a reason not to hire you.

One of the best things to do when finding a job is to talk to a career advisor. You might have one of these at your school or college. Another thing you can do is to take a look at the National Careers Service website for info about careers, next steps to take and interview tips.

The government has some good information about disability and work that you may find helpful.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for your letter.

Sam
