It can be difficult to know what to do when you really like someone and are not sure if they like you. Getting to know someone a little better can help you to work out what their feelings are.
Often when people break up with one another they may not want to start going out with another person straight away. Sometimes they may want to spend some time being single. If this person just broke up with someone, it could be that they need a bit of time.
On the other hand, some people are happy to date again right away. It all depends on the person and how their last relationship ended.
It can be good to develop a friendship with him before you make any decision about asking him out. This may help you to find out if he likes you or not, and if you really like him although sometimes people can get used to each other as friends and wont think of the other person in a romantic way. Its not easy to figure any of this out!
I cant say one way or the other whether this person likes you or not and I cant tell you how to go about asking him out. This is something youre going to have to work out for yourself. You might get it wrong, but thats okay. We learn from experiences like these and it helps us to get it right the next time.
