Hi there,
It can often be difficult to know how to stop someone bullying you, but its even harder when its in a public place. It can feel like you have nowhere to turn, but there are people who can help.
When someone is breaking rules or the law, there are people whose job it is to make sure everyone follows those rules. At school teachers should protect you and out in public this could be the police.
Your school may be able to help you. Even though this person goes to a different school, your school could contact their school on your behalf. Youd need to know their name and the school they go to for this happen.
If someone hurts you or is bullying you in public, the police may be able to help. If you need support talking to them, perhaps you could speak to an adult you trust. The police will need specific details about where and when it happened. Even if they dont act right away, itll be on record which gives more options for you in the future.
Remember, you have the right to feel safe and you deserve to get support.
It might be that whoever looks after you at home is able to contact the people who look after this other person. Its possible they could work something out between them, so that you dont have to put up with this anymore. This option is possibly one you could try first as if it doesnt work, youll be able to show the police or your school that youve tried to sort this out first.
I hope that helps but if you want to talk more, you can always talk to a counsellor.
Take care,
Sam
