     hi,

i understand how hard anxiety is... i have bad anxiety problems. I worry about everything a lot and i feel nervous leaving my house. Things that worry me a lot are like meeting new people, being in large crowds, new places and speaking infront of people and stuff like that. I always feel nervous when i have to go out, like people are looking at me and thinking bad things. I also get very nervous when i have to change my routine, because i like to do the same things every week at the same time to make it feel "safe" for me.

I think its hard to deal with yeah, ermmmm I go to CAMHS every week to try and help me and im on medication 3 times a day which helps a bit. I think its really hard to change things when you have such strong anxiety... but you have to do the things which make you feel absolutely terrified and think "whats the worst that can happen if I speak to this person"... and then you realise that maybe you might trip over your words or blush but is that the end of the world? The other person will probably not remember it anyway.. thats how im trying to think of it even though its tricky!!!

    hope this helps!

    Hi,

I am always so very very tired because I can't sleep at night because I have constant butterflies. Normally I'm worried about school. Not tests or exams. The social side of school. The bit where you will get judged and you have to talk to people... (I also have a disease which means I'm in constant pain so I doubt I'd be able to sleep anyway.) I find it really difficult to talk face to face in a social situation - everything comes out wrong. The only time I feel like me is when I am typing, it's when I can be understood. I don't know if this really counts as anxiety - I haven't been diagnosed or anything - but it feels like anxiety and fear - a lot of fear.

The way I deal with it is by writing it all down - on my hands and up my arms or in the back of my book before a lesson starts to try and get it out of my head so I can consentrate. It sort of works... But I suppose having a  deformative disease with a definite need for a brace and a high chance of surgery can be quite a lot to have sitting on top of your mind...

On the other hand, I can think of soo many people who are worse off than me!

     Hi!

I have problems caused by anxiety and stress that makes me throw up at night and have very bad headaches and stomach pains. I also can't keep much food down and keep fainting! I go to CAMHS or CYPS to see a psychiatrist and take medicine to calm me down and help me sleep. I find that taking my mind off it helps and I do a bit if yoga sometimes to calm me down and help me relax! Hope that helps! Stay strong! Xx 😄

I've got a anxiety disorder. i get panick attacks randomly, i cant sleep and i havent eaten properly in about two weeks. My advice to others is to hold your head up high, Keep busy, Keep organized. Try new things, you will find it distracting in a good way. I hope this helps anyone whos trying to cope with what i am.

I have anxiety and constantly worry about everything. I worry all the time, about my parents and friends. I am particularly fire cautious if I think a electric switch is on I'll go downstairs, even if it is late at night or early hours of the morning petrified there will be a fire. I take medicine for it and bi-polar. This is my story I'm getting better now.

I have terrible anxiety and often feel hopeless. When i explain my symptoms to a doctor they look at me as if i'm mad and it makes me feel worse. It's a horrible feeling and I cry every day

Okay, I'm not sure if this is anxiety... but I'm kinda scared to go out at the moment, especially in town where EVERYONE is :S I know this sounds ridiculous but when I'm in town i suddenly take loads of short breaths and i feel as if im suffocating, people can see me and what a weirdo I am, im constantly worried someone will start to have a go at me or someone I know will see me :S I cant explain it :/

do you think this is anxiety? this has only started happening to me recently. when i am sitting in a classroom and everything is all quiet i start to find it hard to breathe and my heart starts to get faster. then i think i'm going to either scream or faint. or be sick. and if i think i'm going to be sick then i probably will. i just feel like, if i don't get out of there then i will go crazy.

is that anxiety or am i actually crazy?

i do sort of feel like i'm not really there so sometimes i pinch myself to try and wake myself up, but that doesn't always work, so sometimes i dig my nails into my arm or scratch myself to try and get myself back to normal. i think i probably look pretty normal when all the stuff is happening inside me but i'm going to look really weird if people see me pinching myself but what else can i do?

oh yeah, and i am a boy, so this kind of stuff is not supposed to happen to me.
