Life issues

Life issuesSometimes life can be tough or feel unfair. There are lots of reasons why the ordinary things in life can get you down. Problems with friends, or relationships or school might not seem like a big deal to anyone else. But we care about them.

The most important thing to remember is whatever the problem is, you can always talk to us about it.

When someone dies

People can die because of an illness- such as cancer, an accident- such as a car crash, or old age. Bereavement is the word used to describe the loss that people feel when someone close to them dies. Grief is the emotion that people go through as a result of the loss of someone they loved.

Any big life changes such as leaving school or moving away from home can make us experience similar painful feelings of loss.

The credit crunch and recession

In the past few years the UK has been making lots of money by selling things made here, like cars and food, to the rest of the world. An economy is how a country organises the way it sells products to other countries and buys items from them. The more things the UK sells, the more money it makes and the more products it can buy from other countries, and this makes the economy grow. Read more about The credit crunch and recession
