    Creative Tool update

    Hi everyone,

It has been a while since the creative tool was launched so ChildLine are planning on updating the creative tool with some new content, things like  backgrounds, words, images that you can drop into your images.

Is there anything that you would like to see included or anything that you would hate to see go?

This is your chance to tell ChildLine what you would like to see in the creative tool.

Personally, I have been amazed at the creative uses for one small picture of a guinea pig, so I am really looking forward to hearing what else you would like to see in there.

    Take care,

    Alex-Host.

Things that I  Will like to have changes, added  and fixed on the creative tool:

    1. The Modifying tool..Its works but attimes I will modify an image but it will move from the position I have placed it in.

    2. Can we blend 2 backgrounds.

    3. The pen tool its needs to be modified. Like different pen types.Pencil. Crayon. Water ink.etc.

    4. Images of real peopele.like models maybe.

5.Can we cut and paste whist drawing..

6.Background of some REAl places..buckingham palace.big ben etc.

thats all I can think of 4 now.

I like the words to use instead of typing everything, so please keep them! But I think that there should be the colour white because sometimes you need it on different coloured backgrounds. Maybe even some glittery colours. I also think that there should be more pictures under 'friends'.

    They are my ideas :)

I find the modify and delete tool hard to use. Maybe you should have a 'back' button to delete what you just did and also a rubber if you just want to rub out just a bit of it, but not the whole thing. The modifying tool needs to be updated, it is so hard to work out and i find it really hard to drag small images around the page because the tool seems to only want to enlarge or rotate it. an you please change this tool to something/s much easier and simpler! Also you can only have a certain amount of words on the page and i think this needs to be updated cos i struggle to even write a sentance! Thanks xx

I think you should have a background tool

be able to blend two colour together

have a like proper eraser so that if you've drawn a really long line you can rube out only a little bit

    have more pictures/cartoons

more places for your background because there isnt that many

I understand that the creative tool is vector based. Its best to think of it a a place to build an image rather than draw one. if it wasnt vector we wodlnt be able to change the shape, size of possision of anything and once something is stuck, it would be stuck. I doubt a traditional eraser tool is possible with a vector program.

maybe you could have an opption to switch from the vector creative tool to one that is more like MSpaint.

     Hello,

I don't know if there is already one there, but maybe a Mirror image might be handy?

    Hi mashup,

    Thank you for your suggestion.

Unfortunately the closing date for ideas was the 28th December but I will pass your suggestion on in case there is a chance to include it.

    Take care,

    Alex-Host.

Umm.....There should be more shapes you can just drop in (hearts) and stuff. There should be a description box where you can describe how this relates to you and what everything means for people to see.

There should also be more colours to paint with!
