Everyones already set in their friendship groups.

    hey

so im going into year 10 next year. in our year group, we have known each other since year 7. thats the probelm. i dont have any friends in my year group. do you think it is possible to make new friends with some of the people in my year, even though we all know each other well and people are already set in their 'cliques'? cos im finding it really hard to make friends. i dont want to feel as if im pushing myself into their friendship groups, there are some people i want to make friends with, but i dont wanna seem too pushy and clingy? its so unfair, im rubbish at making friends, and being bullied isnt making it any easier. so how can i make friends with these girls, even though we have been together as a yeargroup for four years now and everyone is set in their groups? im sick of being alone.

Yes, it's possiable. Try being friendly to different people by just making eye contact and smiling to begin with. Then start saying hello and making small talk with them. You'll want to make friends with the loyal people who you have something in common with. Start by looking up different school activites and get involed. You also said that you're being bullied, don't let that bring you down, i bet you're perfect. First impressions are always important, so you'll want to look friendly, dress presentable, speak clearly and have good posture.

    I hope this help
