Well if you want to go an extreme colour, then have a look at Directions and Crazy colour. Maybe bring your Mum and Dad with you to buy the dye and see which one of those colours they will let you have.

tell them it's semi permanent, which it is, and they will maybe be more likely to allow you to do it!

Or, if yiu aren't allowed to dye all your hair a bright colour, maybe do certain sections? Currently my hair is it's natural colour brown, but it is dip dyed bright red! Or if you have a fringe, just dye that? Or highlights?

Remember: do a skin dye test.

Can I suggest a wash out dye? You can buy a red spray which will just wash out. Try Boot, Superdrug and Claires Accessories. Then if your parents don't like it you can just wash it out!

    Hope this helped :)

What about purple it may not be light but it looks cool (my mum died her hair purple and it looked really cool reson being my familys a bit wierd) as for your dad he's just being a typical dad thinking your growing up to fast. Hope that helps.

Use a semi-perminant first, just to see what your mum and dad think.

Try a dark purple, like a bit darker than barney, but lighter than plum if you know what i mean

Or maybe go back to blonde, or another natural colour and get wakey coloured highlights! Like blue, red, pink, purple?  It looks really nice!
