I saw 'the light' in a dream

Hi well I've been thinking about this dream a lot recently so I thought I'd share it.

A few months ago, my uncle died from cancer but the night he passed away, I had a really nice dream.

It was pitch dark but then in the distance a head was a point of white. The light grew bigger and closer and a sudden peace and calm fell over me. The light filled my whole vision then just disappeared and darkness returned. I didn't dream of anything else that night. I didn't know what it meant until around lunch time the next day when we got the phone call saying my uncle had passed a way.

    Any thoughts or comments?

    Hey!

Dreams don't always mean something, maybe it was a coincidence? If it was a reaccouring dream (you always dream about the same thing) then it means there is something on your mind and you might want to consider seeing a councillor but I don't think your dream meant anything :) don't worry!

Hi, when I was 7 my Grandad died and i saw him in a dream. He came to me and made sure I was okay. He died that evening. Its common i think, so i wouldn't worry about it.

Things like this do sometimes happen. I think it's called ESP (extra-sensory perception). It's basically when we unconciously know that someone we are close to had died, or that another emotionally powerful event has happened. An example would be that some people have reported getting a shiver down their spine the moment a loved one has died fighting in the war, before they are even told of their death. No-one knows why it happens, just that sometimes it does. Pretty amazing, yeah?
