Where did everyone first hear about and go on Childline?

Hey, this is just something I wondered randomly :-)

At my primary school, there were childline posters up in every room! But the first time I used it was when my friend had an ED and I had depression, she reccommended it, so I went on it!

    Whats all your stories? :)

i was googling looking for help and came across there4me, which is the old site before childline site was here and been here ever since. I have been here through there4me and when it changed to the childline website now. Major changes!

A teacher at school told me about childline and thought it might be useful for me as i found it and still find things very difficult to talk about...and with the whole confidentiality thing of this site, she thought it would be good.

Well its just one of those things that you know i guess. People would joke and say "oh so your going to call childline' and stuff. There are posters at school. I never felt the need to call them, but when i found out there was a website, and you didn't have to call (i would find that awkward) I decided to go on it. I just randomly looked it up one day x

I can't remember where I first heard about ChildLine because I came across it a few times; it was mentioned on TV, I saw some posters, etc. Then later life got really stressful and I remembered I heard about ChildLine, so I googled it and found someone to talk to here and some games to take my mind off it. :)
