Does anyone else have sibling with cerbal pausey !!!!

I have a seven yeart old brother with cerbal pausey (i am six years older thyen him btw)

And i was just wondering if anyone else had a sibling with cerbal pausey cause i feel so alone sometimes and my friends are nice to him but i feel on my own. I used to go to a club called sibs and have kept in touch with them but they don't seem to care anymore :(.

    Hi booksrcool,

Thank you for posting your message.

You have mentioned your feelings about your sibling having cerebral paulsey.

Why not try using ChildLines 1-2-1 or voice service the counsellors there are always happy to listen and support children and young people.

    Take care,

    Rosa (on behalf of Charlie-Host)

    Hey

My name's Marsaili. My little sister has cerpal paulsy. I'm 16 she's 12.

I know it can be hard to have a sibling with such a difficult disability. I've spent my whole life since grace was born looking after her and doing my best to help in any way i can but it dosen't mean it's simple. I personaly find it hard cause people aways notice her first, pay attention to her most, even my parents. And i understand that and totaly accept the resons why and that it's simply the way things are and will be.

One thing that get's me every time is when she's finding it hard to speek and people eather talk over the top of her or try and finnish her sentances or just ask me what she says cause they didn't understand it first time round. she has a voice and she can use it, people just need to try and be patiant. it really bugs me cause i almost always understand her and others sometimes dont even try. It dose make you feel isolated. it's something that can be really hard at times. Personaly i have alot of issues my self but all mental, and it means that i feel alot like they dont even care about what's happening with me. it's just something that makes every day life harder.

So yeah. i understand where youre coming from.

If you have any issues that you want to talk to someone about feel free to ask. I know it can be hard talking to the counclers on here and as good as they are somethings are difficult to get across but might be easyer with someone who's been there before.

    Be kind to yourself
