    Periods+ holiday : disaster !!

Well  I'm going on holiday in a few weeks and I'm going 2 be on my period....

As we're going 2 Spain, we have a swimming pool in the house that were staying in

I use tampons but what if the string comes out if the bikini and everyone can see it ???

And I'm sharing a bathroom and a room with 2 other girls and one boy... I'm really worried as the other 2 girls havenot started and only 1 of them know I have started.... I would be soo embarrasst if the boy found out 2

Any body got tips on how 2 hide that u have got ur period ??

wear tampon and the string is not long enough to dangle out of a bikini so dont worry and it is nothing to be embarrased about it just means u are becoming a beautiful young lady

There are tablets that you can take to prevent your period from starting, however you must remember to take the right amount each day. If you don't want to take these or think you will forget, you are probably better off just using the tampons, and don't worry about the boy finding out, I'm sure he is old and mature enough to understand about periods and he won't mind will he!

If you are interested in the tablets they are available from your GP.
