DOGS!!! why am i so afraid??

Sorry, its a bit long (!) ..........okay well when i was 4 i got chased by 4 or 5 dogs. at first i was laughing and joking then when i wanted to stop the dogs kept following me and baking really loudly at me. i was calling for my dad who was talking to frends and couldnt hear me right until i screamed as loudly as i could.

Ever since i have been petrified of dogs NOT on leashes.

i have a godfather with 2 dogs and frends with dogs and i simply cant take myself to go to the house because of this. I find it really hard to even go to a park in fear of being chased. I feel as if this is ruining my life.

what do i do???? is there anywhere i could go for help??

I'm not afraid so I might be able to give you advice!  You should talk to your parents and ask them if they can help you get rid of your phobia of dogs. Or use the 1-2-1 call (might be long). Ask you parents and tell me if they've agreed or not, if not I'll try and think of something else!

    Hope I helped,

Thanks  but my parents dont really care. It was more vital when i was younger. My dad was scared of dogs too so he tries to tell me what to do but as soon as a hyper dog comes near me i run and scream........even though i know its the worst thing to do! I'm not sure aout the 1-2-1 chat thing either because im not alone often enough. Im somethig home alone for an hour at the most but my parents could walk in on me at anytime. My best rend also has the same phobia so mae we could talk to Childline together?

This has helped me soo uch and made me think outside of the box and sorry i took so long to reply!
