Hi and thanks for writing to me
For your sister to find out that she is pregnant must be really worrying and scary. Has she had this confirmed by her doctor?
The thing that she really should do but won't at the moment is talk to mum and dad.
Once she has told them, and they will be probably will be upset for her because they love her a lot, it will be important to plan.
The plan must be for your sister to decide what her future will be.This is her decision only.
It is important that she gets medical advice quickly so that she can make these decisions on what to do and get the help she will need.
Try and persuade your sister to come to ChildLine and even talk to a counsellor. With the support of a counsellor your sister may find the courage to speak with your parents.
She can make contact either by phone on 0800 1111 or register and have an online 1-2-1chat if that's easier for her.
Have a look also at some web sites that provide information on what to do if you find out you're pregnant www.brook.org.uk this has a helpline number 0800 018 5023. Or www.direct.gov.uk/en/YoungPeople/HealthAndRelationships HealthAndRelationships
I hope this has helped and that it all works out
Sam
