Can I start by telling you that lots of boys and girls of all different ages masturbate and that it is a perfectly normal and natural thing to do.
Lots of young people do it because of the pleasant feelings it gives them, others do it as a way of exploring and finding out about their own bodies.
You sound as though you are worried about masturbating maybe someone has told you not to do this?
Have you had a chance to look at the ChildLine message boards to see what other young people say about this? See how they cope with the confusing feelings it can cause.
