Hi B*,

Thanks for taking the time to write to me, I can really hear that things feel difficult for you right now. It’s a good thing that you felt able to access some help and support with how you are feeling and also what’s happening for you.

From what you have told me it seems as though you have a serious health problem and you've been in hospital for quite some time. Your letter made me wonder what help and support the hospital were able to provide and also the school that you go to. Many schools and hospitals can help make sure you can still do your school work so that your education is not being affected.

It sounds as though moving schools has been tough for you and that its felt hard for you to make any friends. The people that are making fun of you have no right to do this and what they are doing is bullying. Have you thought about talking to your teacher about this or another adult you trust? It's important to tell someone so they can help stop the bullying.

I can hear that you are worried about getting good SATS results. This is something your teacher may be able to help you with. You can also read about how to Beat exam stress in Explore.

It also sounds as though it may be good for you to be able to talk to someone. You can talk to ChildLine by e-mail, 1-2-1 chat, and also on the phone by calling 0800 1111 which is a free number and won't show up on your bill.

Hope you find this useful.

Take care,

Sam
