Hi and thanks for contacting me.
I can read how worried you are about your maths GCSE on 21 June. From what you say it sounds so very important for you to do well. You are in year 9 so I’m wondering if this is your first GCSE? It seems you have done everything you can to help you pass the exam.
Could you talk to your maths teacher or any other teacher you feel comfortable with about how scared you feel? What about talking to your mum and dad or someone that you feel close to, like a friend?
It is normal to have worries and feel pressured you are not alone. Sometimes this can help us to work hard and get what we want. It's when this gets too much that it can difficult. Maybe your teacher could talk to you about your concerns.
There's lots of support with exam stress, so have a look at the homework and exams information for some advice or even post a message on the ChildLine message boards to see what others think.
Check out also www.thesite.org this will give you information also about dealing with exam stress.
Please contact ChildLine on 0800 1111 or have a 1-2-1 chat with a counsellor if you would like to talk about this some more.
Good luck
Sam
