Hi thanks for your letter
I am really glad that you have written to me. Bullying by a teacher is unacceptable behaviour, and no pupil should be subjected to it.
Bullying is not acceptable full stop. Teachers are in a position of trust and whilst you are in school they should be protecting you from harm. Not harming you in any way.
The thing you should do is to tell someone quickly. Because it is a teacher, it may feel scary or you may feel that you won't be believed.
You say that everyone in your class knows about him. I'm wondering whether you have any class mates or friends that will support you through this and maybe tell a trusted or close adult?
If you don't think you could do this have a think about writing down all the things you have told me, and giving it to your year head or head teacher. If this teacher is bullying you he may even be bullying others.
Have a look at the ChildLine message boards to see if any other young people have experienced similar situations. You may want to have a look at another support website such as www.teenissues.co.uk this will give you information about teachers that bully.
I hope this helps if not please come and talk with a ChildLine counsellor on 0800 1111 or online in a 1-2-1 chat
Take care
Sam
