Hello there
Thanks you for your letter.
I think you have done really well to write to me about your Mum and how it is affecting you at home. You have said in your letter that your Mum is really unwell and that she sometimes faints when she becomes stressed. It's understandable that this is scary for you and you have also told me that sometimes when Mum gets angry she hits you and/or, “kicks” you out of the house for a short time.
I wonder if there is anyone else in your family or someone close to you that knows how it is at home for you. You have every right to feel safe at home and to feel protected and kept safe from harm and that means not feeling scared of your Mum losing her temper and hitting you or you being on your own with the worry that Mum might faint at anytime.
ChildLine has counsellors that you can talk to at anytime about what other help and support is available to you and it does sound like you might need some more help with things. You can contact a counsellor online or by phoning 0800 1111 anytime.
ChildLine is here to support you and you can contact in whichever ways feels easiest and most comfortable for you when you feel ready.
Take care
Sam
