Hello
Thank you for contacting ChildLine to share what is going on with you at the moment. It is clear there is a lot happening for you in your family, and it really sounds like you aren’t happy and that you are struggling with things.
ChildLine says that physical violence is unacceptable, and you have a right to feel safe and secure. No one has a right to physically harm you, and you have every right to tell someone about what is happening. If you are being attacked and beaten up this is called physical abuse - and it could be considered assault. If you ever feel you are in danger, you also have every right to call the police on 999.
You say you want to go into care, and it sounds like you would like to have some help to change the situation at home. If you wanted things to change you could report the abuse to the police or social services, or talk to another adult you trust, like another family member or family friend, or a teacher for example.
ChildLine can talk to you about any of these issues and help and support you, including what you mentioned about issues with eating and self harm. You have a choice of ways to contact a ChildLine counsellor including calling us on 0800 1111 or by having a 1-2-1 chat (like MSN) or by sending us an email.
Take care
Sam
