Constant arguing with mum

Me and my mum have been in a ridiculous argument over something silly and haven't spoken in four days, when we do speak it ends in an argument. It's getting me down and the tension in the house is unbearable. Is their anything I can do?

Hi there

Thanks for your letter. It sounds like things have been really difficult between you and mum at home.

You have said that every time you do try to talk it ends in an argument. Have you thought about maybe trying to communicate with mum another way?

What if you wrote your mum a letter telling her how you’re feeling and how all the arguing is affecting you?

You can always come and talk to ChildLine about how you’re feeling too by phoning anytime of the day or night for free on 0800 1111. Or you may prefer to talk online by having a 1-2-1 chat.

It would be really good to hear from you
