Thank you for your letter.
You say that your mum is a good mum and you love her, however when she gets drunk it makes you feel sad. How would it feel to talk to mum about how she makes you feel when she drinks? You might be able to do this at a time when she hasn’t had a drink. If you don’t feel you could talk to mum I’m wondering if there is anyone else at home you could talk to? Maybe another family member or even another adult you trust who could talk to your mum for you.
