Hi there,
Thanks for your message. It sounds like things are really tough at home with your mum and your sister, I'm really glad you decided to write to me and tell me how you're feeling. You say your mum hits you and it sounds like she says some really hurtful things to you. What your mum is doing is wrong and no one has the right to hurt you or make you feel upset.
I can hear that you feel really angry at your mum when she does these things and you said you felt like punching her because of what she said. It’s okay to feel angry and it sounds like you perhaps need a way to release your anger. Some young people find it helps to punch a pillow or to write down all their feelings and then destroy the piece of paper. You could do this by scribbling all over it and throwing it away or tearing it up into tiny pieces.
Sometimes it can feel like adults are putting a lot of pressure on you and it can be hard to know how to cope with that. It sounds like you have support from your best friend and I’m wondering if you can think of anyone else you have in your life that could support you? Some young people find it helps to talk to other family members, a teacher or another adult that they trust.
Also the counsellors at ChildLine are here to listen and want to support you with what you are going through.
Take care,
Sam
