Hello there,
Thank you for your letter. It does sounds like you have some very real concerns about your foster family. You have mentioned in your letter and that you wish you could find a way to help keep them together and that can feel like a big responsibility.
I can understand that having been through one break up of a family, it is natural that you would like to be somewhere where there is a sense of the family getting on together. I wonder how it would feel for you to talk with your foster Mum about how things have been for you. Talking with her might give you a better understanding of whether the problems are usual for them or whether the family need more support with any problems.
I can also see that you might be worried about mentioning it to your Social Worker as you have said that you like this family and don't want to move away from your school. You might find that your social worker might be quite understanding about this and would certainly want this to work out before taking action to just move you from your foster placement.
A way that you can talk this through further and get some support is to talk with a ChildLine counsellor by phone 0800 1111 or using the 1-2-1 chat [like MSN] on the ChildLine website.
Take care
Sam
