Thanks for your letter
I think you have been really brave and honest to own up to having all of these emotions. Sometimes we can experience feelings and not always know the reason.
We can have a good home and family life and a group of good friends but at the end of the day, still feel these emotions.
I suppose the way to move with this is when you want to self harm and are feeling sad, lonely or angry is to stop and find a quiet space.
Talk to yourself, have a peice of paper or even write on your computor and ask why am I feeling this way. What has just happend to make me begin to feel sad, lonely or angry.
It may be too difficult to think of what has triggered this emotion inside. But it could be something very simple that stirred up a past memory of a time that made you feel this way.
You could even think about getting your family, friends or boyfriend to help you with this? Have a go but it's important that you write it down as you can always go back, look at it and say I know why I am feeling this way.
If you would like some more help with this come and talk to a ChildLine counsellor on 0800 1111 or come and have a 1-2-1 chat online.
Take care
Sam
