Hello
Thanks for your letter. Feelings can be really tough to cope with sometimes....they can be confusing, upsetting, and all mixed up. They can be hard to talk about because it's sometimes hard to even know how you feel.
You are doing the right thing to try to talk about what's going on for you - whenever people are struggling with their feelings it can be helpful to share how you feel and try and get some help. However, it's always important to remember too, that it's very hard for others to help you if they don't really know how you truly feel or really know what's going on for you. It's okay to need time to build up trust and that can take time. No one should expect that difficult feelings will go away after one or two or maybe even three conversations - it takes time, and that's okay.
Perhaps next time you do come and talk to a ChildLine counsellor you could tell them about this letter, say how you really feel and that you don't feel like things are getting any better. Being honest is the best way for people to be able to help you. Maybe you can have a think about this and try and talk with a counsellor again another day and see if you can try to figure out another way you can get some more help.
Take care
Sam
