Hi Sam,

i'm very confused right now, i met this girl a while back now, at first she was really into me, flirting, trying to catch my attention e.g.

i added her on f, asked her how she was that day, just being nice, but she never wrote back, i sent her some nice virtual gifts and wished her happy birthday when it was her birthday, when i see her in the street or near my house cos she lives so close, she puts her head down or looks the other way, she never speaks to me and if she does look at me, she gives me death stares.

i dont get it, why is she acting so cold??

shall i try to ask her whats up or just give up?

im 16 btw.

It sounds like this girl has given you really mixed messages.

Flirting with you one minute and avoiding eye contact with you the next and this must be very confusing and hurtful for you. 

You ask in your letter whether you should talk to her about her behaviour or just give up.

I would urge you to do what you feel is best for you. You could also submit a message to the message board and see what other young people think you should do.
