Sometimes when we’re feeling low, it helps us to talk to someone we trust about what’s happening. This could be a trusted adult like a parent or teacher or it could be a friend. Other young people find that writing things down helps.
Some young people also think about ringing ChildLine and speaking to a counsellor who will offer support by listening to them and trying to find a way forward. You can ring ChildLine for free on 0800 1111. It is also possible to have a 1-2-1 online chat with a counsellor if you like.
ChildLine’s website also has message boards where young people can share their thoughts, feelings and ideas. You might find it helpful to take a look at this, as you might find other young people worrying about similar things to yourself.
