Hi there
Thank you for writing to me.
It sounds like things have really got on top of you. You’ve come through a very difficult period in your life by coping in a way that lots of other young people do. I don’t think you’re silly, but I can understand that you think your parents might be like that.
I'm worried about you. The fact that you feel so alone, that teachers have given up on you. I know that there are other ways to deal with problems like this; when you start thinking about suicide it is time to get help, so thank you for gettig in touch.
You need to talk to someone; you’ve been so brave to tell me, and now I think you could talk to someone else, someone who’d listen and help you to deal with what’s going on for you.
I think that if you called ChildLine you’d find that the counsellors there are very good at listening, and they will take you seriously - please call. The number is 0800 1111, calls are free and you can call any time, day or night. If you prefer to chat online, just sign up for a ChildLine account.
Please know that the help that you need is here.
Good luck and take care,
Sam
