Hi there
It’s really positive that you are seeking a bit of advice and support with trying to understand the dreams you have been having lately.
Dreams can be confusing and difficult to understand, so it’s a good idea to get a bit of advice on this or talk things over.
Dreams can often be related to thoughts and experiences we have in our lives, and most young people, at some time have had thoughts about sex and pregnancy.
Its also really positive that you have not had sex yet… the legal age to have sex is 16 as this is when the law considers young people to be ready, emotionally and physically to have sex…. Just because you have not had sex though does not mean you will not have thoughts, questions or even dreams about sex and pregnancy.
Many young people find that the best way to deal with this is to talk things over, get some information or get a bit of advice.
Talking with trusted adults, friends or by checking out websites with information for young people can really help. www.likeitis.org.uk has lots of useful info, if it would help to have a bit more information you could have a look at the pregnancy and sex parts of this site. You are also welcome to talk with a counsellor at childline online or by telephone, 08001111.
Hope this helps
Sam
