Topic im being bullied by year10's for weeks :L

To Sam 5/12/11 7.37pm	im being bullied by year10's for weeks :L hi im 12, and in year 8 now, and sceared to even leave the house or go to school. i get bullied everyday at school by my old bestfriend, and her sister in year 10. i got beat up on the 14th of november and it hasnt stopped. On the 14th i got beat up bad by my old bestfriends sister and her friends at the back of the school, they smashed my phone up and gave me a blackeye, and i have cuts all over my face and legs arms. i havent told no one they told me not to otherwise they said you will regreat it, they no were i live and they have beat me up 5 times now and im so sceared im to sceared to even walk out my house door or even to go to school. i cant get the bus no more because they get on the same bus as me. every night i come home and run up to my room crying with a bled nose and cut lip or even a blackeye. i dont no what do do anymore and im crying right now even thinking about it or even wrighting about it. my boyfriend is so nice to me he has been there for me alot and has stayed with me most of the time so i dont get hurt but when im on my way to see him or something i get stopped by the people who beat me up and they beat me up there and then and only my boyfriend knows about it but iv told him not to tell no one and he said he wont iv said to him and he has promised and hasnt but i got beat up today and my boyfriend was round the corner and got infrout of them but its got on for quite a while now and i cant tell no one. what shall i do ?x please help me !x from b*!x

You say that you feel too scared to leave the house or go to school. I would like you to know that everyone has the right to feel safe when they are walking down the streets, or when they are at school and it is not your fault that you are being treated this way. You have been really brave telling me what’s going on for you and I can hear that you don’t want anyone else to know about it. It sounds like these bullies have worked really hard to get you to believe that if you tell someone about what they are doing, things will get worse. I get lots of letters from people who are being bullied and know that bullies often do this because they know how much trouble they will get into if anyone found out what they are doing. You have said that they have attacked you, broken your phone and beaten you up badly giving you a black eye and scratches. What they are doing is very seriously wrong and against the law. They are physically abusing you as well as bullying you and should not be allowed to get away with doing this. Your school has a legal responsibility to keep you safe at school and they should have special ways to be able to keep you safe and help you deal with what’s going on. All schools have to have an Anti-bullying policy by law, so perhaps you could find out about it by talking to a trusted teacher or support worker. Also if you ever feel unsafe on the streets when you are walking home you can call 999 and ask for the police. You say that your boyfriend has been really supportive towards what’s going on. I’m wondering if there is any trusted adult that you can tell? You should not have to put up with what is happening to you and it is not your fault. I can hear you are worried about telling anyone else but you deserve to be treated better and feel safe and it sounds as though you need help. Perhaps you could talk to a ChildLine counsellor about what could be the next steps to take. You can talk to them confidentially either on a 1-2-1 online chat or by phone on 0800 1111. Thank you very much for sending me a message. I can hear that what is happening to you is really frightening for you and that it is affecting your life in a big way.
