Hi there
You sound upset and very sad about what is happening to you and it is spoiling your opportunity to enjoy school. It’s not ok that you are not able to sleep at night and end up crying as a result of what others are doing. Bullying is wrong and what these people are doing to you is wrong.
Your letter makes me think that you are dealing with this all by yourself, and maybe you need some help with this to make it change. It is really important to tell someone, as it is difficult, if not impossible, for anyone to deal with what you’re describing on their own. Talk to your parents or a teacher that you trust, especially as you have been physically hurt and it is a crime to assault someone and cause any sort of injury.
The adults around you have a responsibility to make sure you are safe. The school should have a policy to deal with bullying and they need to use it now. It is hard to stand up to bullies so well done for trying, it shows that you are brave and do believe in yourself and that’s really important.
It would be good for you to talk to someone so I thought you might think about speaking to a Childline counsellor on the phone on 0800 1111 or online in 1-2-1 chat, especially at night when you are feeling really upset. There are some good websites that you could look at that give useful information and advice such as http://www.bullying.co.uk. I hope this has helped a little but you have started to deal with this so keep it going,
Take care
Sam
