Hi there
Well done for getting in touch with me and being brave enough to write down how you are feeling. It sounds like you are having a difficult time at the moment and being bullied is making you really unhappy. It also sounds like you’re dealing with this by yourself. Bullying is very wrong and your school will have an anti-bullying policy which will say what they can do to help you and what they must do to deal with this behaviour. This is because all young people have the right to feel safe in school.
I am also concerned that a video has been posted on facebook and can see that this is upsetting you. This is another type of bullying and if you check the Facebook safety pages, you could report this, as the person posting it, is using the service wrongly.
It seems that you feel that you might be judged if you tell a teacher. Teachers are there to support you and know that it’s important for you to be happy in school. I hear that you feel embarrassed but you have done nothing wrong. If you don’t feel that you could talk to a teacher, how would it be to talk to another trusted adult?
Take a look at the ChildLine message boards. They are there for young people to support each other by sharing their thoughts, feelings and ideas. Perhaps you could see how others have dealt with being in a situation like yours.
If you would like to talk this through with a counsellor, you could sign up for a ChildLine account and have a 1-2-1 online chat, or phone for free on 0800 1111.
Take care
Sam
