Hi there and thanks for getting in touch.
It sounds as though life at school is really difficult for you at the moment and when you say to these bullies that you are going to tell somebody, they hit you even more.
Every school needs to have somebody who is responsible for ensuring that bullying doesn’t happen. It would be good if you were able to find out what the anti-bullying policy is in your school. Another good thing to try, is to keep a diary or journal where you write down everything that these bullies say or do to you. This is so, that when you are asked what has been happening, you can show it to the adult or teacher because it can be difficult to remember everything.
The counsellors at ChildLine are there to listen and help support you with situations like this. They can help you explore what has been happening and look at some options that maybe you hadn’t thought about. You can talk to a ChildLine counsellor at any time by ringing the free helpline 0800 1111 or you can chat to them online through 1-2-1 online chat.
If you don’t feel ready to talk to them, how about taking a look at the information on bullying in the Explore section of the ChildLine website - there is a lot of good advice on there. Sometimes it’s a good idea also to post on the ChildLine Bullying message board because then other young people can give you their ideas as sometimes they’ve been in similar situations.
If you don’t find what you are looking for on the ChildLine website you can also look on some other anti-bullying websites such as Bully Busters or Bullying UK.
I hope this helps,
Sam
