Hi there
Thank you for your letter. I can hear that you feel bullied by your math’s teacher and you don’t want to tell anyone about it. You don’t say how your maths teacher is bullying you but ChildLine wants you to know that all kinds of bullying are wrong and this is not something that you have to put up with.
You tell me that it is a teacher who is bullying you and teachers are not allowed to do that, they are there to look after you and keep you safe in school. I can hear that you don’t want to tell anyone about this, perhaps you could talk to your maths teacher and let them know how the bullying is making you feel.
Some young people feel like they do want to tell someone about bullying and often choose an adult they trust to talk to. It is your choice what you do and perhaps that is something you can take some time to think about.
If you would like to talk some more about what you are going through you can always come and talk to one of our counsellors at ChildLine. You can contact ChildLine by phone for free on 0800 1111, on a 1-2-1 chat online (like MSN) or by email.
Take Care
Sam
