Hello,
First of all, it’s really good that you are sharing how you feel with ChildLine. It’s clear from what you have told us things haven’t been easy for you over the last 4 years.
Nobody has a right to pick on you, make fun of you, or throw things at you for any reason, and to say you should commit suicide is very cruel. You have done the right thing to tell your teachers and your parents about it, and you have every right to expect them to take it seriously and to expect them to do something about it. Ignoring the problem doesn’t make it go away – your school and your parents have a responsibility to help you and to see that the bullying stops.
Having Asperger’s syndrome doesn’t make you weird, it’s a part of who you are and affects you, but that doesn’t make you any less of a person than anybody else.
If you wanted to read more information about Asperger’s syndrome in the Autism page of the ChildLine website. You can also come through and contact a ChildLine counsellor to talk to us about ways to deal with the things you are going through at the moment, either by calling on 0800 1111 or having a live 1-2-1 chat (like MSN) or sending us an email.
We are here to listen, and I hope you will come through to share how you feel with us.
Take care,
Sam
