Hello
Thank you for sending your letter to me. It sounds like this girl is making things at school really difficult and you want things to change. I want to let you know that what this girl is doing to you is wrong as nobody has the right to make you feel bad or make racist comments about you. You might want to tell an adult at the school (for example a teacher or pastoral manager) about what has been happening because it is their job to make sure you feel safe at school.
If you feel like not enough is being done to stop the bullying then you might need to keep letting the teachers know what is going on; keeping a diary of what is happening between you and this girl would be useful so that people can see exactly what she has done. The following website contains some really useful help and information about bullying, www.bullying.co.uk. There is a section of the website especially for young people and one of the areas they look at is bullying in schools.
You could also try looking at the message boards on our website where you can talk to other young people who have been in similar situations. If you want to talk to a ChildLine counsellor about this you can phone 0800 1111, request an online chat through the website or send an e-mail. ChildLine counsellors can support you and look at ways in which you can cope with the bullying.
Take care
Sam
