Hi and thanks for your letter,
It's really courageous of you to write to me about what you are experiencing.
While self harming is your way of coping with bullying, I want you to know that you shouldn't have to do this and don't have to cope with it alone. I'm wondering whether self harming is the only way you think you can cope with it?
Nobody should have to put up with bullying, it shouldn't happen to anyone. Does anyone know that you are being bullied or self harming? Is there anyone who could help?
Some young people use the ChildLine message boards as a way of getting support from each other. The message boards offer really good advice. Another option is to speak directly to a ChildLine counsellor, either by calling 0800 1111 or having a 1-2-1 chat. You can also find information about bullying in the ChildLine Explore section.
You may want to visit www.bullybusters.org.uk or www.bullyaware.org, both of which offer advice and support.
Take care
Sam
